Where Every Jar Tastes Like Home

At Guthrie’s Kitchen, everything we make begins with a love for homegrown food and sharing it with others. For years, my husband and I made our homemade salsa for family and friends, and after hearing countless requests to buy it, we decided to turn our passion into a family business.

In October 2025, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our daughter, and the bright center of our world went dark. Soon after, I was laid off from my job of 23 years. Amid grief and uncertainty, we turned to what had always brought us joy—tending our garden and making homemade food together. What began as a family tradition became a much-needed part of our healing, and eventually, the inspiration for Guthrie’s Kitchen.

Our garden remains at the heart of what we do. We grow as many of our ingredients as possible and believe fresh, quality produce makes all the difference. Every jar of salsa and bottle of hot sauce is handcrafted in small batches using recipes we’ve developed and perfected over the years.
